Never Worry Ingratitude

Jonas met a friend in Korea who was literally computer illiterate. Jonas even assists his friend instructing where the letters of the keyboard he wants to click for typing his name. Their job in the factory involves computer programming aside from the manual work as an ordinary task in the factory. His friend fear of losing the job and going back to the Philippines where opportunities for good paying jobs are debilitated since Philippine politics became haven of graft and corruption.

Jonas trained his friend every night giving him computer lessons before sleep and assisting him in actual work, instructing hands-on work in the factory covering up his errors from their dreadful boss. After few months, he became better than Jonas in some internet stuff and a creator of his own petty websites in the internet. His friend learned to operate the machines in the factory by his own programming. Of course, the wise Jonas didn’t give out everything, there were some techniques in programming which he kept it to himself so sometimes his friend comes to ask for help in terms of complicated programming to work the machines in the factory.

When the gray time came, Jonas was betrayed by his friend simply because of misunderstanding influenced of his sidekick that Jonas is no better than him. Jonas did a ruing mistake when he demanded for gratitude when he answered his ungratefulness -- that he helped him a lot despite the differences of their faith and he gave him a possession that couldn’t be stolen as long as his memory serves him. Jonas expected in return a good friendship as housemate from his friend whom he spoon fed in few months to learn the work in the factory.

Jonas demanded gratitude from a person whom he helped a lot. That was a fair thing that Jonas should never do again.

Now, Jonas learned.

Gratitude is a virtue not acquired by demand but an offer of someone’s will.

I remember a woman who wasn’t grateful to her old mother. She lets her weak mom carrying a sack of cassava to sell in the market. I was 12 years old when I stacked in my trail witnessing how she scolded her mother in public not to carry a heavy sack of cassava but not lifting a finger to help her. That’s how ungrateful she was.

The emotional agony of her family members has been caused by her bitterness in life. That’s how influential it was. Attitude problem may affect others. From bitterness unto bitterness; and ungratefulness unto ungratefulness. Then I didn’t wonder when her seven children treated her more worsen than she treated her old mother.

When the time that Jonas betrayed by his friend after all the good things that he did, teaching him how to use a computer keyboard up to becoming a computer programmer. I may imagine how the kindness of Jonas has brought him emotional pain expecting a good thing in return but paid of a terrible ingratitude. It reminds me a quotation of a wise writer saying “No pain of the body can exceed the excruciating pain of an agonizing mind.”

But why should anyone expect gratitude then? When David once said “And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.” Jonas my man is far not better than David.

Though now, this might be a mark of superiority that Jonas whom I know is taking joy in doing favors for others but he feels ashamed to have others do favors for him. Nevertheless, there is a divine sense in such virtue that he is now after for; “The joy of giving without expecting anything whatever in return is better than gratitude, and it is a soothing pleasure of peace inside.”

Brain BIOS

When I was younger it awed me how people behave and react in diverse circumstances. Some emotions are really hegemonic expressions and others are as contagious elements whether it would be a positive or afflictive influence to every person around. In a society of men, it seems that there is a social trend, a hit of the present time, an enchanting social sense, a line where everyone’s attention is converged. When Susan Boyle hits the Youtube and became as the ever most sensational celebrity in that site. It's like everyone is being dragged to view her video every time someone is browsing the Youtube.

Now, Susan Boyle’s performance posted in Youtube is simply an outdated video of an excellent performance.

The essence of timing in an aroma of attraction is crucial. When the line of attention is fading it also goes with the level of appreciation and fascination.

Who insinuate the invisible line of attraction in a society?

There is a constant neurological communications among people, that our brains are designed for sociability. Neurologists explain how the brain function pertaining to emotional reactions. They discourse to some sort of biochemical reactions in the brain induced by circumstantial influences from within or outside of the body. The mind reacts according to situations inhering patterned experiences and accumulated historical reactions to a particular instance. The body is responding on the dictate of the brain, and the brain commands are in accordance to biochemical reaction produced in a given situation.

When you touch a hot iron, in a split of second, waves traversing into the nerves connected to the brain send information that a part of the body touched a hot object. The brain process a signal firing back another signal for a certain reaction of the whole body concentrating on the affected area. These action and reaction of signals are done in a supersonic speed. Then the unwitting movement in its precise timing away from the hot iron is executed.

Brain functions in billionths of interconnections and sending billions of signals in just a split of second, which even in an iota of time there has already a presence of reacting signal in the brain. The brain has the most dense interconnections ever known in a transmission system. The complexity of the brain circuitry couldn't even comparable to the complexities of all supercomputers in the world. It evinces the magnificence of the human biology and the greatness of its Maker.

But what makes the basic input and output system in the brain? Though, the last part of the human body to attain full maturity is the brain according to the neurologists. Perhaps, it only implies that there is a need of ample time to gather collections of experiences and knowledge to complete its neural circuitry. A young brain reacts and gathers information, but what makes for it to possess an ability to adopt information and develop itself to a particular stature?

The parent-child loop offers the central passageway for parents to help their children learn the ground rules for relationships- how to attend to another person, how to pace an interaction, how to engage in conversation, how to tune in to the other person's feelings, and how to manage your own feelings while you are engaged with someone else. These emotional and social reactions are also processes within the brain.

The neural mirrors in the brain concrete the fact that emotion is something contagious. A smiling man influences someone to smile, same as in frowning delivers negative forces to a social buddy. This imitating reaction let us feel at least of what others feel. It tends us as creatures with social responsibility. All of these are processed within the neural circuitry inside the brain.

A sound man passes over an almsman while walking on a passageway feels empathy of care, but by cognitive dissonance this initial burst of emotion is sometimes overridden by another reaction causing to disregard the beggar. The positive signal of natural emotion has been eroded in a particular road of circuitry in the brain. That is a neurological process of behavior which may develop negative custom.

For whatever circumstances the brain reacts depending on how we have adapted ourselves to react in a particular situation. Though, the raw knowledge of goodness is already implanted even at the start of our biological development but we form our own personality in our own judgment and intentions. It reveals that our interactions with others, the food we intake, the faith we belief in, and the place we live actually have the power to shape our brains. The certainties of which our brains are programmed for kindness assert evidences of the goodness of its Maker. Development of a personality depends on the power of the brain and/or the thing which empowers it.

I may also say that behind every neurological process there is a spiritual maneuver over the mind...

(this is unfinished article, I got not much time to elaborate some allegorical points in this write-up. I was inspired to write something about neurology because of my simple curiosity of how man's brain is working. Reader must have an idea on psychology to comprehend the discursive lines.... lol!)

Liberian refugees in Ghana

These Liberian women who were in protest has been harassed by the Ghanaian police and illegally detained for weeks without due process of law. Their sentiments have been ignored by the UNHCR and the Government of Ghana.

I posted this video to spread the awareness by informing the world community that there are Liberian people starving in hunger, deprived of formal education, and suffer persecution in their own country and in the place where they suppose to seek for refuge. So they are raising up their voices to be heard and asking for an aid and fair treatment.

Anyone, please do help!

Contact the main office of the UN in Switzerland and petition for the sake of our Liberian brethren living as refugees in Buduburam Refugee Camp Gomoa Dist. Accra, Ghana. The more voices to support their concerns will bother the UN of not helping these people.

Understanding the unknown

Hmmm... LHC?

Have you heard about the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) or known as the world largest particle accelerator?

This is a super massive instrument ever built by humans which used by more than 1,000 scientists mostly groups of physicists to study the smallest particle which they say as the fundamental building blocks of all things. So, that particle must be smaller than atom or stuff comprising an atom? Is it really now known particle, or is it really smaller than the nucleus, electron, and a proton of a single atom? Well, just only innocent questions.

The understanding of minuscule world could lead to the discovery of mysteries and structure of the vast universe. A scientific principle believed by scientists which may perhaps a chance of solving a universe-liked jigsaw puzzle. Nothing completes a whole thing without starting from a single part. And that project might be a small part to acquire the understanding of an enormous universe.

The gigantic instrument placed 100 metres underground and situated in the borders of Switzerland and France consisting of 27 kilometers ring of superconducting magnets pre-cooled to -193.2 centigrade. Around the LHC accelerator ring has trillions of protons travelling at 99.99% the speed of light which will cause some 600 million collisions in every second. The collisions of protons will generate temperatures more than 100,000 times hotter than the heart of the Sun concentrated within a minuscule space but stinging cold superfluid helium circulates around the accelerator ring keeps the LHC in a temperature of -271.3 centigrade even colder than outer space.

Having these unbelievable figures, scientists and engineers have constructed gargantuan devices used as detectors with electronic trigger systems measuring the passage time of a particle within a few billionths of a second. Using the most powerful supercomputer system in the world, the LHC will produce roughly 15 petabytes (15 million gigabytes) of data annually that is enough to fill more than 1.7 million dual-layer DVDs a year. These state of the art devices are instruments used for the study.

What's the objective of that project?

It is to answer the unresolved questions in particle physics.

Questions like;
What is the origin of mass? Why do tiny particles weigh the amount they do? Why do some particles have no mass at all?

And they speculated that the key to answer these questions may be found in the Higgs boson named after the physicist Peter Higgs. They sometimes call this thing as god-particle. Since this is yet to be discovered through the LHC, concrete facts about this particle is not yet established. A theory of scientists believe that the missing Higgs causes mass for some particles and the god-particle is the ultimate building blocks of all things.

In all these developments and advance technologies in science. Yet, no matter how they contrive spending billions of dollars to the advancement of technological innovations and solving questions in particle physics. The wisest key to believe the causes of all things even the discovery of that missing Higgs which they called as god-particle is in the understanding of God's Word. And I believe that no matter how the scientists strive to understand the causes of all things which God has made will not lead a defined and perfect understanding of all matters and anti-matters. By human endeavor, incomprehensible works of God remain unresolved mysteries in the universe at least considering the works of God under the sun.

Ecclesiastes 8:17:

"Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea further; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it. "

Deo Gratias

I ain't know how could I start to figure out in words the things that I wanted to say. It's like a feeling that is so enormous and uncontainable. It's unspeakable!

I value much the days, weeks, months, and the year 2007 that have passed in my life. It was so wonderful and sacred. When I reminisce those days I can't help but the tears of being so thankful to GOD comes out because He has let me to be a partaker. Thus, I say Deo Gratias!

It is just that, the time goes on. It comes and it goes.

As life of christians go on, every day is a battle, and a crusade for the sake of goodness. Everyday brings opportunity to do good for my brethren and people around me. Everyday allows good chances to follow GOD's will. But chances and opportunities may cease.

Facing what tomorrow shall bring is like calculating what would be at the end of the road whether I could rightly finish my course or not. Guessing of what happiness and sorrow which may come along the way makes a reminder that the vitality of holding steadfast to the good faith is a must in order to survive.

A life of joys and sorrows. A christian life, indeed.

Everyday has a lesson to comprehend, as everything has a good value to appreciate. All are magnificent works of GOD. The fall of a leaf from a stem and the spring of a new born life, it's so wonderful to know how GOD is protecting us and teaching us the things we ought to understand.

Every time I realise how lucky I am, I am so thankful to GOD because I've been a part of those good things that have passed. But I'm not proud of myself, pondering why a worthless person like me has been a part of glorious works. I am like an almsman dressed up of a fashioned clothes invited to dine with fine people, tasted their perfect wine and have indulged with their laughters and joy. And I have heard their stories how they have been made fine and good beings, and they are my brethren. Then I say, they are indeed deserving for such reward. But me, I should be thankful of the left-overs from my Lord's table. Valuing every moment I spend with His servants, making up the most in every inch I walk with them. No matter what would be my end, I pray that a crumb of mercy from GOD may fall upon me.

INCM's dirty tactics

Regarding the published article in a Philippine Daily Inquirer Newspaper last June 21, 2008 written by Allison Lopez. Entitled, "Dating Daan’s Ely Soriano posts bail."

It is so much disappointing that the Philippine Inquirer or the inquirer.net has allowed such news without verifying the credibility of its source. The news was motivated of malicious intent which apparently to discredit the person of Brother Soriano.

At the point of nothing to redress, where it seems so impossible for them to get out from a horrible situation because of their deceptive doctrines has been publicly lambasted by Ang Dating Daan through expositions of the truth. And the desperate bastards got nothing to indemnify in their faith because it is absolutely desolated, they just sort out all impertinent means to malign Brother Soriano. The INCM recompense their frustrations by sorting dirty tactics including that one published in a Philippine broadsheet though they might pretend that they have nothing to do with it but having wise analysis it is obviously settled in an under the table commissioning of the INCM. And in the midst of their spiritual restlessness and defeat they moronically hallucinate of slumbering in paradise. It is like adapting their selves into a milieu of self-deception forming to an illusion of victory but they are simply believers of their own lie.

I tried to observe how the Iglesia Ni Manalo answer and disprove the teachings of Brother Soriano... Imagine a firing bullet trying to hit but the target remain still because it is mirrored in their illusion - that is how the lousy crap of Iglesia Ni Cristo of Manalo! Drowned in their despair they can not knock-down the firm and infallible preachings of Brother Soriano. The more they get thrust against it, the more they'll get damned and disgraced!

Starting from the doctrinal matters of faith. The INC ministers display their gross ignorance of the truth in the Bible. The four winds and the four angels in Revelations 7:1.. which they cannot biblically explain until they tried to point that the one wind is in the brain of Brother Soriano, a type of filipino idiom to insult him. And the being of Felix Manalo as angel and Jesus as a mere man and if they are asked to which one is higher, an angel or a man they simply divert to another topic configuring into an unmatched ends. Their contradictory doctrines issued in their Pasugo magazines that can easily notice by a wise researcher and reader. And many other absurd and unbiblical beliefs incorporated to their close-eyed followers.

Then, what are these losers doing now? Fabricating cases in a money-maneuvered Philippine courts, apprehending the Ang Dating Daan Religious Program to be aired on television in connivance with the Movie & Television Review & Classification Board (MTRCB), and using the media to do malicious and personal attack because they cannot stand against the infallible teachings of Brother Eli Soriano. The same thing as done to an old prophet of God, written in Jeremiah 18:18:

Then said they, Come, and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us smite him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.

The Philippine Inquirer should be cautious in allowing its writer Allison Lopez to disseminate report without confirming the authenticity of its content. This only proves that the Philippine Inquirer is not a trustworthy media source but a garbage-news picker and a foolheaded-writer approver.

Goodbye!

The feeling of anxiety and solitary sadness a propaedeutical sign of farewell which I felt almost four years ago when I left Capitol is the same thing that I have now in my senses. The same words I said before, "I need to move on" because the Lord has called me in where I am now, is also the same instance and wondering at the present what next ahead of me.

Last night, my friend has her status message at her yahoo id saying "have the feeling of loosing something great." I sent a message answering her quotation, "I have lost many great things in life but greater things are coming by." She answered and said, "yeah, but sometimes its hard to simply let it go." I did not reply her about it because the same goes in me.

I came in this beautiful Peninsula not to have red wine on my table nor dine with the fine people in a society of men. But because my Lord has let me to be here for a noble purpose which I need not to mention. And I will leave this Peninsula without having a single drop of red wine on my cup but only memories of dining with the finest persons ever lived on earth. I'll go back to the island where I came from almost 3 years ago, without considerable bucks in my pocket but only with my notebook and clothing on my body. And ofcourse, together with the wonderful gifts of memories with my beloved ones here in this Peninsula which I'll treasure even at the time of my resting place will call me to close my eyes. I love you all....so much! Words may just foolish figures but I mean in my heart the divine sense of it. I love you brethren!

I am just a lonely orphan. Am nobody! No one can decipher my heart but my Lord alone. Not myself either. He gave me my duties and all things that I have... He leads me where I must go, hoping for the things I have not seen nor reckoned with. It is faith that directs where I am heading. Though I admit it is so difficult to bear leaving lovely things behind and enduring afflictions ahead. Faith dictates me, "greater things await there, where I must go, and I should not fail."

Whatever it takes, come what may, as long as my Lord stays with me reigning peace in my heart. I will move on making up my steps. And when I say again, goodbye! I know that I have faithfully done my part of duties and I will be saying hello for a greater responsibility. And I shall gladly have it, for my Lord has lead me. So help me GOD!
